For me, making something work is only part of the job. I also care about how it looks, how it feels to use, and whether someone can figure things out without having to stop and think about every step. That’s probably why I sometimes spend way too much time on details most people might never notice — the position of a button, the timing of a transition, or even a single line of text.
I don’t usually have everything figured out before I start. I try things, change them when they don’t feel right, and sometimes scrap the whole thing and start over. That process is actually one of the parts I enjoy most. Most of what I know about the web and the projects I work on came from experimenting like this.
What you see here is part of that process too. Some things are finished, some are still changing, and some will probably stay in my head for a while longer.
